2 DIY Face Packs That’ll Give You Ridiculously Radiant Skin

Every Indian girl must have had pamper sessions at home where her mom helps her to slather everything from multani mitti, chandan, besan, rose water and more on to their faces? Trust moms to know that the real secret of having well-nourished and glowing skin is actually in one’s kitchen. Keeping benefits aside, it’s great to have a relaxing time at the comfort of your home. Can’t find the time to book a salon appointment for your me-time? WODROB’s got you ladies two DIY face packs. So, treat yourself to a spa day at home with these homemade face pack recipes.

Papaya + Tomato + Clay

Rich in antioxidants, papaya helps renew skin cells for fresher looking skin and also brings a glow to the skin. Tomato on the other hand helps shrink pores and protect the skin from the damage caused by UV rays. Mash some papaya pulp for a thicker consistency or blend it into a smooth paste. Make fresh tomato puree and add it into this papaya paste. You can also add a teaspoon of clay, which is optional. Apply this pack to a clean and dry face for about 15-20 minutes. Wash it away with water and be ready to find an instant glow on your face.

Oatmeal + Yogurt + Honey

Oatmeal facials are extremely popular and the main ingredient works great on oily skin, as it helps to absorb excess oil off the face. Yogurt cleanses the skin bringing about a radiant finish. Since honey is antibacterial, it also helps soothe irritated skin. Mix some oatmeal granules with a little bit of lukewarm water and wait till it settles down. Add honey and yogurt to this pack and mix it well. Apply the paste to the face and let it sit for a good 15 minutes. Rinse it off with water and apply a moisturiser to your face.
