With stars like Jennifer Aniston, Cara Delevingne, Victoria Beckham, and Jennifer Lawrence sporting the lob or long bob, we know it didn’t take much for many of you to follow their footsteps. Ask, and your hairstylist will definitely agree that this is a super-chic and sexy haircut. Not only is it versatile, but it also can be chic when not styled too much. One that suits most hair types, the lob is universally flattering. Also, it has the perfect hair length to style and maintain. But did you think you can’t style it? We at WODROB surfed the Internet and brought you hairdos that you can try if you have a long bob. Check it out and you’ll be wanting to visit the salon ASAP to get the lob only to try these styles. From amping up your basic pony or creating a gorgeous half up-do or even braiding it… there’s a lob hairstyle for every persona.
The twisted ponytail
For this hairdo, divide your hair from the crown into a ‘V’ horizontally toward the back and pull the upper half into a ponytail. Grab the rest of the open hair and tie it right above the first ponytail. Turn this towards the inside of the first ponytail and pull it out through the hair tie to achieve a twisted pony look. Take two strands of hair from each ponytail and repeat the same over the first hairdo. This hairstyle is suitable for college or when you’re off to work when you want to keep the hair away from your face and yet look fancy.
The braided half updo
Part the hair at the back, and pull it into a ponytail at the crown. Create two fishtail braids from both sides of the undone hair, and incorporate it into the first ponytail. Loosen the braids for a fuller and thicker look. Add a pretty bow or any other hair accessory to hold this look and also hide the hair tie. This hairstyle works great if you’re heading out for a date night or even when you’re hanging out with friends.
