The words ‘she slays’ is apt for Rihanna, because be it as a musician or a fashionista, she’s always a step ahead. Now with her latest debut in the makeup space, we are just not expecting any less. Goddess RiRi just launched her Fenty Beauty, an all-inclusive beauty line, and boy it is as stunning as it can get! The highly-anticipated range is flawless, and we love how diverse it is.
Even before its inception, Rihanna’s range of foundation has been quite the talk of the town. While the beauty giants of the world are busy catering to the needs of lighter and paler skin tones, Rihanna changed the makeup game with her PRO FILT’R Foundation range which offers forty shades; every shade is customised to fit most skin tones. Talk about inclusive makeup lines! And if that wasn’t enough reason for you to go gaga over her products, here’s some news ICYMI… her line is cruelty-free.
Rihanna kept the focus on foundations, highlighters, concealers and contours through her Fenty Beauty line. It includes a few weightless and long-wear highlighters called Kilawatt Freestyle Highlighter in stunning shades like Metal Moon (a shiny white gold), Fire Crystal (a pearlescent shimmer), Mean Money (a champagne sheen), Ginger Binge (a copper sheen) and more. Our personal favourite (and already a social media favourite) is the gorgeous illuminating 3D-hyper-metallic gold pressed powder titled ‘Trophy Wife’. Makeup artists who have already tried this product love the radiant glow it imparts.
The one news that has disappointed lipstick lovers around the world is that RiRi has only launched a single lip product: Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in a shimmering rose gold shade with a peach-vanilla scent.
Talking about her products and why they mean so much to her, The Barbados Babe said, “Fenty Beauty was created for everyone: for women of all shades, personalities, attitudes, cultures and races. I wanted everyone to feel included, that’s the real reason I made this line.” We’re certainly expecting to be stunned by more product launches by her, which she plans to release in the course of next year.
