Vogue India celebrated their 10th anniversary with Vogue Women Of The Year Awards 2017, and our B-Town celebrities were seen dressed to the nines. We’ve chalked out our best-dressed list, which includes those who stole the spotlight with their ensembles. Read on!
Dressed in a crystal beaded Falguni Shane Peacock gown, Anushka Sharma left us speechless. She looked stunning in this one-shoulder mauve ensemble that she teamed up with Swarovski studs and diamond rings courtesy Aurelle By Leshna Shah. Love the smokey black eyes and nude pout as well as the centre-parted low pony.
Looking dapper in a navy blue bandhgala that he paired with pants cuffed at the hem, the ace couturier bagged Designer of the Year Award.
Looked like Sonam Kapoor worked the Pantone colour of the year ‘greenery’, as she dazzled in a voluminous emerald green gown from Lebanese designer Fouad Sarkia’s Couture 2017 collection. Love how the drapes give the gown an asymmetric look as well as the balloon-sleeved bolero jacket. She aced the look with a bold red lip and went glam with short curls. Since the gown was so elaborate, we love the minimal emerald and diamond jewellery she sported.
Character actor par excellence Rajkumar Rao looked dapper in a blush pink suit by bespoke and pret label Tisa that he paired with a printed shirt and a tie. Love the addition of the fedora to this look.
Sporting a risqué gown in silver by Julien Macdonald. We loved everything about this outfit — the plunging neckline, thigh-high slit, structured shoulders and that knotted waist. She opted for toned down makeup with smokey eyes and a nude lip. She wore matching pumps and carried a metallic clutch to complete her look.
Shah Rukh Khan
The winner of the Vogue Entertainer of the Decade award, King Khan wore a three-piece tuxedo for the black-tie event.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Making quite an appearance in a black sheer gown with bell sleeves, Aishwarya looked stunning. The embellished and feathered number by Faiz Zariwala had a lovely train, making her look dreamy as ever.
We love a man who dares to stand out. And Jim Sarbh ditched the regular outfit for a monochromatic pink ensemble by Khanijo, one he pulled it off with ease. We love the polka dot shirt and we’re totally swooning over his entire look. In fact, #MCM for sure!
One of the best-dressed gentlemen of the night, Anil Kapoor looked as handsome as ever in a checked suit blazer and a tie.
Aditi Rao Hydari
The actress attended the event in a fish-tailed number in fuchsia by Basil Soda. She sported the full sleeve, nude embroidered gown with a bright purple pout and middle-parted sleek hair.
