When we talk denims, it is easy to assume that we’re going to discuss silhouette and cut. However, that’s not what we’ll be talking about today. Currently, we’re crushing on the embroidered denim trend, and TBH we know it’s going to stick around for a while.
If you’ve checked out street style stars, you’ll know that embroidered jeans are the biggest denim trend we’ve witnessed. Whether it’s flaura or fauna that you are drawn to or just abstract quirky prints, there’s something for everyone in this department. There are pairs of embroidered jeans that are super subtle. And then there are those for the bold-hearted that go dramatic with embroidery. What’s more? This trend isn’t only restricted to your jeans but even your denim daisy dukes, dresses, jackets, you name it!
The good news is that you can find these pretty much at every store; be it Zara, Asos, Amazon, Topshop, and where not! Now, since you know where to find them, you’re going to have to figure out how to style them too, right? Let us help.
The Embroidered Jacket
Style your denim embroidered jacket over a plain summer dress and team it with a pair of sneakers to go for a lunch date. You could also alternate your bomber for an embroidered jacket and layer it over your top and ripped jeans to be a headturner. Don’t shy away from working denim on denim either. All’s good in denim world.
Swap your same ol’ skinnies for embroidered straight-fit jeans and sport it with a corporate white shirt for a day at work. You can even choose a pair of high-waist embroidered jeans, pair it with a half-tucked strappy tee and jacket when you’re out at night. Swap those sneakers for block heels and you’ve got yourself an #OOTD for date night.
Nothing helps beat the heat than a comfy pair of shorts. While you may have pulled out many of your denim shorts this summer, there’s nothing stopping you from getting an embroidered pair. Tuck in a bodysuit or pair it with a chic graphic tee for a day out with your pals. A good pair of sneakers and gold hoops will be the perfect addition to the look. Work an embroidered piece-on-embroidered piece look with an embroidered shirt over the shorts. Complete the look with a sling bag and heels.
