Looks like collaboration is the word in the fashion industry. And why not! When fashion stalwarts get together, they’re bound to give us nothing less than the best. One Indian designer who seems open to partnering with other brands is Payal Singhal. Earlier this year, she unveiled a collection in collaboration with Desai Foundation. Now, Singhal has dropped yet another collab, which we’re super excited about. This time she’s joined hands with the online store The Label Life to create a capsule collection. The celebratory edit by Payal Singhal for this e-store consists of 10 fuss-free pieces that one can sport no matter what the occasion. La Vie En Rose was made to ease out women’s shopping woes as well as styling hassles. Its occasion wear separates can be mixed and matched to create a number of outfits for casual Fridays, dinners, cocktails, receptions and more.
These pieces flaunt Singhal’s signature floral and botanical motifs. What we particularly like about this collection is how Payal Singhal’s contemporary-Indian aesthetics blends with The Label Life’s game-changing silhouettes. The pieces are predominantly black in hue, with a few pale pink outfits as well. The line includes a printed shirt dress, printed scarves, a cape, a pair of relaxed pants, an off-shoulder top, a maxi skirt, a box clutch, a tunic and a gold wrap belt. Speaking of why she chose to create these pieces, the designer mentioned, “Being a stylist at heart, I understand the need to have quick one-and-done, crease-free styles close at hand that pair with your full closet!”
Available on The Label Life website starting today, this line is a perfect mix of prints and solids, distinct silhouettes and a classic meets modern vibe. Go check it out!
